Pamela Cooper,
QuickBooks ProAdvisor®
Pamela Cooper, our in-house Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor®, began working with QuickBooks in 1995 and has setup and trained QuickBooks clients all over the country. She has been certified by Intuit in QuickBooks versions 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
After homeschooling her daughters, Hannah and Rebecca, for 9 years, Pam learned that education need not end when formal schooling ends. She believes that we are all life-long learners.
“In small businesses, we need to wear many hats. My clients may excel at their vocation but they often need some direction in accounting. I can provide that direction in person, over the phone and over the Internet. Sometimes it only takes an hour or two of training to straighten out a problem. And my clients love the results when they save time and money. Often they already know what they want to accomplish, they just need me to help them meet their goals.”
Pam developed a background in public accounting and banking before she moved to Kittery to run the Wilson-Cooper Funeral Home in 1983 with her husband, Ron. She has specialized in computerizing funeral homes and designed a funeral software package after the FTC regulation changes in 1984. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Accounting.
She is active in her church where she has been the Treasurer since 1994. She also enjoys sailing, genealogy and quilting.
